Ungarala Rambabu Review

Comedian turned actor Sunil pinned all his hopes on Ungarala Rambabu which has been releasing after a massive delay. Kranthi Madhav directed the movie and Miya George played the female lead. Produced by United Movies, Ungarala Rambabu released all over today. Here is the film’s review:

Story:

Ungarala Rambabu is all about Rambabu (Sunil) who bets big on his mentor Baadam Baba (Posani Krishna Murali). After making it big in earning assets, baba suggests him to marry a girl. During this process, Rambabu locates Savitri (Miya George) who suits his requirements who works as a travel manager in his company. During the process of convincing her, he comes to know about her father Ranga (Prakashraj), a communist leader. The rest of Ungarala Rambabu is all about what happens next.

Analysis:

Ungarala Rambabu has a decent first half with enough loads of entertainment, romance and interesting episodes. Sunil performed with ease and the songs during the first half have been shot well. The interval episodes have been thoroughly impressive and the first half of Ungarala Rambabu looks decent and passable without many flaws. However this alone will not make the film satisfying as the second half should live up the expectations.

The second half of Ungarala Rambabu is a huge disappointment and it makes no impact. The entire second half dips down because of the predictable stuff and the outdated narration. The songs too test the patience of the audience and the climax sounds quite routine. On the whole, the second half of Ungarala Rambabu fails to stand up the expectations.

Performance:

Sunil has been decent with his performance and he tops the show. His comic timing and electrifying dance moves are the major highlights of the film. Prakash Raj is the other highlight of the film and he nails it with his exceptional performance throughout. Miya George makes a decent debut and she shines completely with her performance and presence. All the other actors look decent and they performed well.

The story of Ungarala Rambabu looks outdated and the plot of farmers protest has been penned interesting. The screenplay and the dialogues fail to make the difference. The music and the background score suits the film well. The production values look lavish however Kranthi Madhav fails to strike hard with Ungarala Rambabu.

Final Word:

Ungarala Rambabu is one more disappointment from Sunil as the film has nothing new and engaging stuff. Sunil, Prakash Raj delivered out their best. A film that can be given a skip.
