Tollywood Thrilling Multistarrer Shamantakamani Review

samanthakamani-review

Story: Shamantakamani is all about the vintage car Rolly Royce which gets stolen in a party that takes place at Hotel Provotel. Inspector Ranjith (Nara Rohit) takes the responsibility of nabbing the culprits behind the robbery. He manages to drag all the suspects (Rajendra Prasad, Aadi Saikumar, Sundeep Kishan and Sudheer Babu) after which the investigation starts. The rest of Shamantakamani is all about how the car gets stolen, who steals the car and how it happens. Watch Shamantakamani for the complete story to be unfolded.

Analysis:The first half of Shamantakamani deals with the robbery and it introduces the lead characters of the film. As time passes it is during the interval episodes, the car gets stolen and the film turns interesting at this point. Some of the episodes have been passable however some of the episodes look completely dragged. On the whole the first half of Shamantakamani has been completely dull except an interesting interval bang.

The second half of Shamantakamani too falls flat because of the poor and dragged narration. Except some decent entertainment, Shamantakamani offers nothing new. The main twists get unfolded during the climax and it makes not much impact on the audience though it has been interesting. Some decent technical values are the only good things that happened to Shamantakamani. The collective effort of the young heroes has been utterly wasted.

Performances:Nara Rohit delivers out his career’s best performance as a cop. He has been serious and entertaining throughout. All the other young actors Aadi Saikumar, Sudheer Babu and Sundeep Kishan too delivered out their best as per their characters assigned. Rajendra Prasad has been extremely supportive and he steals the show despite of four young actors on screen. All the other actors have been decent.

The story of Shamantakamani has been decent and it has interesting plot. However the screenplay looks slammed and the dialogues look ok. The music and the background score are the major highlights of the film. The cinematography steals the show as it has been showcased in a different colour completely. The production values have been grand. Young director Sriram Aditya falls flat in convincing the audience with some star studded star cast.

Final Word: Shamantakamani falls flat despite of having four young actors on board. The young actors delivered out their best and the technical aspects make the film lavish.
