Superstar Mahesh Babu was impressed with the work of AR Murugadoss years ago and the duo wanted to team up together for a movie some time ago. One fine day, when Mahesh was in Chennai for the Tamil audio launch of Srimanthudu, Murugadoss narrated the basic plot for 20 minutes and the actor was left awestruck. He immediately signed the film and after one month, AR Murugadoss narrated the entire script. This is how Spyder happened.
The movie is now gearing up for Dasara release and the last song of the film will be shot from August 25th in Romania. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead and Harris Jayraj is the music composer. Spyder has been produced by Tagore Madhu and NV Prasad. The movie will hit the screens on September 27th in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages
