Ilayathalapathy Vijay has been dominating the Tamil box-office with his recent outing Mersal. The makers wanted to release the Telugu version of the film titled Adhirindi simultaneously along with Tamil however the film failed to clear the censor formalities. Vijay has been left disappointed as the actor wanted to make a huge impact with Adhirindi in Tollywood. Directed by Atlee, Mersal deals about health mafia in the country and Vijay essayed three different roles.
The latest news we hear is that the film’s Telugu release has been pushed to November as the film failed to clear the censor formalities. The new release date of the Telugu version will be announced officially once the film gets clearance from the censor. Samantha, Kajal and Nithya Menen played the female leads and Sharat Marar is releasing the Telugu version.
