Samantha Akkineni tasted a series of hits and she is on a break. The actress wrapped up the shoot of her next film which is yet to be titled. The movie is the remake of Tamil blockbuster 96 and Samantha essays the role of Jaanu in the film. Prem Kumar who directed the original directed the remake and Sharwanand is the lead actor in this romantic entertainer. The makers are keen on releasing this film in December.
Samantha called Jaanu the most challenging role in her career till date. She said that she enjoyed a lot during the shoot of this film. Samantha even thanked Sharwanand and Prem Kumar for their support. Top producer Dil Raju bankrolled 96 remake and the film is slated for mid December release. Samantha is yet to sign her next project and is busy listening to scripts currently.
