After 25 long years, Ram Gopal Varma and Nagarjuna are re-uniting for a film which has been titled Officer. The entire shoot has been wrapped up in record speed and the post-production work is currently on. There have been wide speculations that Officer has been inspired from Liam Neeson’s French action drama Taken. However Ram Gopal Varma trashed the rumor saying that the film has no resemblance with Taken.
“Nagarjuna is a cop and he has a daughter. Except this, Taken and Officer have nothing in common” clarified Ram Gopal Varma. The ace director even said that the film came out really well and will reach the expectations. Myra Sareen played other crucial role in Officer which has been produced by RGV’s Company. Officer has been announced for May 25th release across the globe. Nag plays a ruthless cop in this action thriller and his look received thumping response from the audience.
