Natural Star Nani pinned many hopes on his next film titled Jersey. The film presents the actor as a cricketer and is an emotional sports drama that is laced with a strong love story. Shraddha Srinath is the heroine and Nani plays a 36-year-old struggling cricketer in the film. The entire shoot of Jersey has been wrapped up recently and the film releases during summer.

Jersey is the life story of cricketer Raman Lamba who passed away due to an injury during a cricket match. Nani too dies while playing a Ranji match in the film.
