Nandamuri Balakrishna stepped back into the shoes of a mass entertainer with Ruler. The film is directed by KS Ravikumar and the trailer, songs received a lukewarm response from the audience. The film carried low expectations and it released on December 20th all over. As expected, Ruler received a mixed response from the audience and remained quite low over the weekend. Though the numbers on Friday have been decent, they dipped down soon.
Ruler collected a theatrical share of Rs 6.53 crores in three days across the globe. The theatrical rights of Ruler have been sold for Rs 22 crores and the film will end up as a massive debacle all over. Vedhika and Sonal Chauhan are the leading ladies and Chiranthan Bhatt composed the music. C Kalyan is the producer and the film will struggle to touch Rs 10 crores mark in the final run.
