Young and talented actor Sunil impressed the audience big time as a comedian. After gaining huge fan base, the actor turned hero and impressed the audience with his movies Andala Ramudu, Poola Rangadu and Maryada Ramanna. However things changed eventually as all his recent films ended up as massive flops which left his career in dilemma. After an enough gap, the actor is testing his luck with his upcoming movie titled Jakkanna.
Vamsi Krishna Akella directed the mass entertainer which promises loads of entertainment throughout the movie. Sunil has taken enough care on the movie and is in plans to bounce back with the success of Jakkanna. Bollywood beauty Mannara Chopra played the female lead in the movie and Dinesh composed the music. The audio and the theatrical trailer received decent response from the audience Jakkanna has been made on a budget of Rs 8 crores and the pre-release business across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has been decent.
Sources revealed that the movie has no takers in USA and the movie may not hit the screens in USA. His past movie Krishnastami left the buyers in hefty losses which made the buyers step backward for Jakkanna. Also there are talks that the USA audience are in no mood to watch mass entertainers. Hence Jakkanna has no buyers overseas and it may not release there. Sunil and the makers are in talks to release the film overseas and we have to wait and see if the movie gets a decent screen count in USA. Sudarshan Reddy who produced Prema Katha Chitram produced Jakkanna on RPA Creations banner. Jakkanna is all set to hit the screens on July 29th all over.
