Mahanati is one of the most prestigious projects that are currently under shoot. Mahanati happens to be the biopic of legendary actress Savitri and is directed by Nag Ashwin. Malayalam actress Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to play the lead role as the legendary actress on screen. Samantha, Prakash Raj, Dulquer Salman and Vijay Devarakonda will be essaying other pivotal roles in Mahanati. The entire shoot of the film has been completed today and the post-production work is currently on.

Mahanati has been slated for release on May 9th in Telugu and Tamil languages.
