Young actor Naga Shaurya who tasted a series of debacles bounced back with Chalo this year. The actor event wrapped up the shoot of the bilingual titled Kanam / Karu which will release in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. With Tamil Nadu theatre owners protesting against the digital providers, the release of Kanam has been kept on hold. After the strike coming to an end, the makers announced the new release date of the film.
Kanam will not hit the screens on April 27th in Telugu and Tamil languages. AL Vijay is the director of this emotional entertainer and Naga Shaurya, Sai Pallavi played the lead rolees. The entire post-production work of Kanam has been wrapped up and Lyca Productions bankrolled the movie. NVR Cinemas is releasing the Telugu version of the film and Naga Shaurya stayed away from promotions after he faced tough time from Sai Pallavi.
