Veteran actor Mohan Babu has been on a break and was not impressed with any script. After a huge gap, he is back to shoot with the movie Gayatri which completed half of the shoot. Young and talented director Madhan is directing the film and the shoot is going on in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Manchu Vishnu has been assigned a crucial role in the movie and the actor joined the sets of the film from today.

Vishnu will be playing the younger Mohan Babu in the movie and Shriya Saran is teamed up with the actor in the film. Anasuya Bharadwaj and Nikhila Vimal are the other lead actors in the movie which is produced by Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. Gayatri has been aimed for release during the first half of 2018. Nandamuri Balakrishna surprised the team in Ramoji Film City as he was shooting for Jai Simha.
