Sensible filmmaker Sekhar Kammula has been out of track and it was Fidaa which brought back to big league. Made on a budget of Rs 14 crores, the movie went on to rake Rs 48 crores in the final run. Sekhar Kammula wanted the film to be made with Mahesh however it did not work out. Now the latest update says that the ace director has been penning the sequel for his super hit film Leader and the script is almost ready.
Sekhar wants to narrate the script to Mahesh first and the film will be titled Leader 2. It is still unclear if Mahesh works with Sekhar but the director has written the script considering the Tollywood’s superstar in mind. However Mahesh who is shooting for his political drama Bharat Anu Nenu is yet to listen to the draft and we have to wait and see if he gives nod for one more political drama.
