Young actor Sharwanand is back with his next film Mahanubhavudu which has been directed by Maruthi. Mehreen played the female lead and Sharwanand played a role of a person suffering with OCD. Story:
Mahanubhavudu has no exciting plot and is all about the life story of Anand (Sharwanand) who suffers with a strange disorder called OCD. He falls in love with Meghana (Mehreen) when the real problems in his life started. Meghana asks Anand to impress her father and the rest of the film is all about Anand shifting from city to village for Meghana and her family. What happens next forms the story of Mahanubhavudu.
Analysis:
Mahanubhavudu promises clean and sensible entertainment throughout the film which is the major highlight. Sharwanand and Mehreen looks gorgeous on screen and they make an impressive pair. The entire first half has been racy, engaging and laced with loads of entertainment which makes it a fun watch. The songs have been shot in beautiful locales and the interval episodes make a strong impact. The first half of Mahanubhavudu makes a decent watch.
The second half of Mahanubhavudu has some flaws however the film manages to lead because of the sensible entertainment. The love story and the family emotions have been laced with entertainment that impresses the audience. An emotional hard-hitting climax ends up Mahanubhavudu on a happy note. The second half of Mahanubhavudu too ends up impressive.
Performance:
Sharwanand has been completely outstanding in the role of Anand. The actor delivered out his best and he looked stupendous on screen. Mehreen is sure to stay here and she managed to be expressive throughout the movie. She has been decent in the emotional episodes. Vennela Kishore managed to entertain the audience and Nassar made the film look emotional. All the other actors delivered out their best for Mahanubhavudu.
The story of Mahanubhavudu has been slim but it has been penned well. The screenplay and the dialogues are the major strengths of the movie. The beautiful songs and the soothing music makes the audience fall in love with the lead actors. The production values have been grand and lavish. Maruthi made sure he kept the audience entertaining.
Verdict:
Mahanubhavudu is sure one of the decent comedy entertainers in the recent times. Sharwanand and Mehreen tops the show with their flawless performances.
