Top filmmaker Sekhar Kammula has been back with a bang after the release of his recent movie titled Fidaa. Varuntej and Sai Pallavi essayed the lead roles in the film which is racing towards the Rs 40 crore mark in its final run. The movie has been a huge challenge for Sekhar Kammula as he needs to bounce back with the film. He revealed that it was Pawan Kalyan who was taken as inspiration for the film. He penned the script considering Pawan Kalyan in mind and some of the scenes have been inspired from Kushi.
However Sekhar Kammula never narrated the script of Fidaa to Pawan Kalyan informed the director. He wanted Mahesh to listen to the script but Dil Raju decided to produce the film with Varuntej. Sai Pallavi’s performance has been getting wide applause from the audience. Shakthi Kanth composed the music and Dil Raju bankrolled Fidaa on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Fidaa is a smashing hit in USA and is expected to collect 2 million USD in its final run.
