Superstar Rajinikanth pinned all his hopes on his next film 2.0 which is made on a lavish budget of Rs 600 crores. Shankar is the director and Akshay Kumar essayed the role of the lead antagonist. Amy Jackson is the heroine and AR Rahman is the music composer. 2.0 after a massive weekend dropped big during the first Monday. The film is said to have dropped by 65% across the Telugu states.
2.0 raked a theatrical share of Rs 36.05 crores in five days across AP and Telangana. The theatrical rights have been sold for Rs 80 crores and the film should perform decent in the coming days to end up as safe project all over. The film has been holding decent across USA.
