Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shoot of his next upcoming movie 2.0 which has been helmed by Shankar. Amy Jackson is playing the female lead and Akshay Kumar is the neative lead. The movie’s budget is said to have been Rs 400 crores and the post-production work of the movie is currently in process. After a stunning satellite deal, the makers closed the digital deal recently.
Amazon Prime acquired the Hindi, Telugu and Tamil digital rights for a record breaking price. The makers along with Amazon Prime decided not to reveal the figure but they confirmed that the deal has been inked. AR Rahman is composing the tunes and Lyca Productions is producing the movie. 2.0 has been slated for April 2018 release during Tamil New Year in 3D.
